Live usage data from NameWheel.org, the free random name picker wheel. These numbers come directly from the site's anonymous spin counter — no estimates, no projections. Names entered by users are never collected; only spin counts are recorded.
NameWheel began recording anonymous spin counts on July 24, 2026. Each spin logs only a timestamp, the picker mode (normal, eliminate, or teams), and how many names were on the wheel — never the names themselves. Spins from both signed-in users and anonymous visitors are counted.
The most common uses of a random name picker wheel are classroom student selection, giveaway winner draws on Twitch and Instagram, team splitting for sports and workplaces, and everyday group decisions. Teachers typically load 20–35 student names; giveaway hosts often load 100 or more entries.
