What This Bingo Card Generator Makes

It makes sets of printable bingo cards where no two cards are the same. Choose the classic American 75-ball card, the British 90-ball ticket, or word bingo built from your own list, set how many cards you need, and print them on 1, 2 or 4 cards per page. You can also save the set as a PDF from the print window and email it to players.

Every card carries a card number and the game code of its set. The same game code always rebuilds exactly the same cards, so when a player shouts bingo you type in their card number and see the card on your screen without collecting it. Keep the code, and you can reprint a lost card next week that matches the rest of the set.

Running the game too? Open the free online bingo caller in another tab. It draws numbers at random with no repeats, reads them aloud, and keeps a board of every number called, which is everything you need to confirm a win against these cards.

75-Ball Cards, 90-Ball Tickets and Word Cards

The three card types follow the rules players expect, so printed cards work with any caller, app or bingo machine.

The 90-ball strips follow the traditional printed bingo book format: six tickets together cover all 90 numbers, so a player with a full strip marks a number on every call. That makes strips a good choice for experienced players, while one or two single tickets suit beginners and children.

How Many Cards Do You Need, and How Long Will a Game Take?

The more cards in play, the sooner someone wins. To give real numbers instead of guesses, we simulated 20,000 games of 75-ball bingo and 5,000 games of 90-ball bingo for each group size below and counted how many numbers were called before the first card won. At a steady pace of one call every 10 seconds, every 6 calls is about one minute of play.

Average number of calls before the first winning card, NameWheel simulation, October 2026. One card per player, 75-ball cards with a free centre, 90-ball tickets with five numbers per row.

Two things stand out. A single line game gets much shorter as the room fills up, so with 50 or more players it can be over in three minutes; play two or three line games before a blackout to make the evening last. A blackout barely changes with group size, because almost every number has to be called anyway, so it is the best final game for any crowd.

Ties are common too. With 25 cards in a single line game, two or more cards win on the very same call in about 1 game out of 9. Decide before you start whether tied winners share the prize, split it, or play a quick tiebreak; our guide on how to host a bingo night covers the fairest options.

Word Bingo Ideas That Work

Word bingo turns any list into a game. The caller reads a word, a clue or a definition, and players mark the matching square. You need at least 24 words with the free centre, or 25 without it. More words than that makes games longer and cards more varied: with 30 words, each word appears on about 4 out of 5 cards; with 50 words, on about half of them.

Vocabulary review

Put this week's vocabulary on the cards and read out definitions instead of the words. Students have to know the meaning to find the square.

Example: photosynthesis, stomata, xylem, chlorophyll

Baby shower bingo

Guests fill cards with gifts they think the parents will open. Mark squares as presents are unwrapped; the first full line wins.

Example: bibs, onesie, baby monitor, swaddle, rattle

Meeting bingo

A light hearted card for long calls, with phrases people tend to say. Keep it kind; the point is attention, not mocking colleagues.

Example: you're on mute, next steps, let's take this offline

Road trip bingo

Things to spot from the car window. Print one card per child and the next two hours look after themselves.

Example: red truck, cow, bridge, gas station, license plate from another state

Language class

Words in the target language on the cards, called out in English, or the other way round. Works for any level.

Example: la manzana, el perro, la ventana, el libro

Holiday parties

Seasonal words make instant themed cards for Christmas, Halloween, Eid or a class party, with no shopping for printed packs.

Example: pumpkin, lantern, snowflake, gift, candle

Printing Tips for Cards That Last

Pick the right size

One card per page is easiest for seniors and young children to read. Two per page suits most family and school games. Four per page saves paper for big events and still prints numbers larger than most store bought cards.

Use thicker paper

Plain printer paper works for a single night. For cards you want to reuse, print on cardstock of about 65 lb (176 gsm), which feeds through most home printers and holds up to daubers and chips.

Laminate for reuse

Laminated cards and dry erase markers turn one print run into a whole season of games. Wipe them clean between rounds. Keep the game code so you can reprint a damaged card that matches the set.

Save as PDF to share

For online games, choose Save as PDF in the print window and send the file to players, or send each player one card number. They can mark a printed copy or play on screen while you call over video.

Checking a Winner With Card Numbers

Every card is printed with its number and the game code, for example Card 17 · Game K4M2P. When a player calls bingo, ask for the card number, type it into the box under the cards and press Show card. The card appears on your screen exactly as the player sees it, so you can compare it with the called numbers on the caller's board without walking over or passing cards around.

This matters most for large groups, video call games where the host cannot see the cards at all, and fundraisers where a prize is at stake. It also stops the classic mistake of a player marking a number that was never called: you check the squares against the board, not against the player's memory.

Keep the game code. Write it on your host sheet or take a photo of it. With the same code and the same settings, the generator rebuilds exactly the same cards on any device, so the check works even if you close the page.

How to Make Bingo Cards in Five Steps

1

Choose the card type

75-ball for US style bingo, 90-ball for UK style tickets, or Your own words for themed and classroom games.

2

Set the number of cards

One per player is standard. Add a few spares for late arrivals; for 90-ball, count in strips of six.

3

Add a title and your words

The title prints at the top of every card, such as the event name or the date. For word bingo, paste at least 24 words.

4

Print or save as PDF

Pick 1, 2 or 4 cards per page and press Print or save PDF. Only the cards print; the rest of this page is left out.

5

Call the game

Open the free bingo caller, press Call, and use the card numbers here to confirm every win. For word bingo, Call words on the wheel opens the NameWheel wheel with your words already loaded; turn on Eliminate mode so each word is called once.

Bingo Card Questions

Is this bingo card generator free?
Yes. It is free with no signup and no download. Make as many sets as you like, up to 300 cards at a time, and print them or save them as a PDF.
Are all the bingo cards different?
Yes. Every card in a set is checked against the others, so no two cards are the same. For 90-ball bingo, each strip of six tickets uses every number from 1 to 90 exactly once, like a printed bingo book.
How do I print bingo cards as a PDF?
Press Print or save PDF, then choose Save as PDF as the printer in the print window. Only the cards are included, laid out 1, 2 or 4 to a page for 75-ball and word cards, or 3 or 6 tickets to a page for 90-ball.
What is the game code for?
The game code rebuilds the exact same set of cards. Keep it, and you can check any card by its number when someone calls bingo, or reprint a lost card that still matches the rest of the set. Use a saved code to bring back an older set.
How many words do I need for word bingo?
At least 24 words with the free centre square, or 25 without it. Using 30 to 50 words makes every card more different and games a little longer, which works well for larger groups.
What is the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo cards?
A 75-ball card is a 5 by 5 grid under the letters B, I, N, G and O with a free centre, used mostly in the United States. A 90-ball ticket has 9 columns and 3 rows with 15 numbers, used in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia, where players win with one line, two lines and a full house.
How many bingo cards should each player get?
One card each is right for children, beginners and fast single line games. Experienced players often enjoy two to four cards. In our simulation, adding cards shortens a line game sharply but barely changes a blackout, so give more cards when the final game is a blackout.
Can I use these cards for online bingo on Zoom?
Yes. Save the set as a PDF and send each player one card, or the whole file with card numbers assigned. Share your screen with the bingo caller during the call, and use Show card to check a winner's card number on your own screen.

Cards printed? Call the numbers.

The free NameWheel bingo caller draws 75-ball or 90-ball numbers with no repeats, reads them aloud and keeps the board for checking wins.
